Last night was Thunder night at Jammin’ Hoops Fest! The OKC Thunder brought out some of the Thunder Drummers, Thunder Girls, the Youth Basketball Program and the Thunder Bolt Trailer with Thunder items to display. And as an added bonus, they also brought the Thunder Book Bus from which the group got to pick out some books! Thank you to all who attended and helped out with this awesome event. We are looking forward to many more weeks with this great group of kids!
The OKC Police Department's F.A.C.T. (Family Awareness and Community Teamwork) Unit’s annual Jammin' Hoops Fest is held at the Northeast Community Center located at 1220 NE 33rd Street in Oklahoma City. The JHF event tipped off June 16 and runs every Thursday night from
5:30-9 until July 21st. JHF is a collaborate effort of the OKC Police Department and community sponsors to positively interact with at-risk youth in OKC through character building and basketball.
