The morning of Monday, February 23rd was a frigid morning in Timmins, with the temperature hovering around -35 degrees Celsius. Timmins Police Constable Rick Lemieux and Communications Coordinator headed out early to hand out coffee and hot chocolate to local crossing guards, who help our students get to school safely, even on the coldest of days. Other residents (school bus drivers, those who were walking, etc) also benefitted from the Random Act of Kindness with a little extra warmth.
