It's time for Raksha Bandhan, and Sakshi is making some delicious stuffed Paneer Potlis with her sister to celebrate their special bond. Follow Sakshi's step by step recipe and do let us know how it turned out !
Dough:
2 cups - Refined Flour
1 tbsp - Ghee
Salt
Stuffing:
250 gm - Paneer
1 - Yellow bell pepper
1- Orange bell pepper
1 - Red bell pepper
2 + extra to tie the potli - Spring onions
4 cloves - Garlic
1 tsp - Turmeric powder
1 tsp Red chilli powder
Salt to taste
Method
Cut the bell peppers finely. Chop the spring onions along with the bulbs.
Crush and finely chop the garlic cloves. Heat a pan and add oil, garlic and rest of the chopped vegetables.
Add the turmeric and chilli powder and salt. Crush the paneer in the pan. The stuffing is ready when vegetables are cooked through.
Take small portion of the dough and roll it out like a puri, add the stuffing and bring the corners of the wrap to the centre and pinch slightly to seal.
Heat the green part of the spring onion over direct flame so that it is easy to tie the potli. Tie all the potlis with green onions.
Heat oil for deep frying over low flame and fry the potlis well. Take it out on a tissue paper. Serve with tamarind chutney.
